Rita Cole, LMFT

Behavioral Health Therapist Rita Cole, Marriage & Family Therapist, CA Lic. No. 84327
Specialties: Depression, Trauma, Marital and Premarital, Relationship Issues, Anxiety,

Introduction

I am a Marriage and Family Therapist dedicated to helping people experiencing anxiety and depression, and those suffering from the effects of trauma. I also specialize in helping people with relationship issues. Together we work to improve communication, break the cycle of arguing, withdrawing, shutting down, feeling lonely, or whatever happens in the relationship that keeps them from having the safe, connected, nurturing relationship they long for. Resentment, defensiveness, anger, pain and fear can make it difficult to break the cycle alone. In therapy we identify goals for the relationship, set boundaries, and rebuild trust to reestablish a feeling of safety and connection. Instead of working against each other, clients learn to work together against the negative cycle to bring about change positive.
