Repetitive, negative thoughts about yourself or your body make it difficult to be present and truly enjoy life. Whether you experience feelings of guilt and self-blame around your food and exercise habits, or you’re trying to cope with a chronic pain or illness, finding peace, acceptance, and connection within your mind and body is possible. Aside from helping clients with disordered eating, body image concerns, and low self-esteem, I also have experience working with clients who have difficulty establishing and maintaining healthy relationships, creating work-life balance, adjusting to major life transitions, and managing anxiety. Therapy offers a safe, trustworthy space in which I can help you develop insight and awareness into patterns of thoughts and behaviors that may have once been necessary, but are no longer helpful to you. Our sessions will also provide you with the time and space to learn skills to change these behaviors, express your feelings, and increase self-compassion. I take a holistic approach to therapy and assist clients with all aspects of their health and wellness. I appreciate the courage it takes to begin therapy and aim to create a non-judgmental, collaborative, and productive experience for each client.
