Finding a counselor with whom you connect with, is the most important step in the counseling process. I provide a warm and welcoming approach as well as provide a safe and comfortable environment to discuss sensitive and challenging issues. My goal is to help you navigate life's challenges, difficult life situations, reduce suffering, and increase connection with yourself and others. I started my career in 1997 working with adolescents in residential treatment, detentions centers, drug and alcohol rehabilitation, and runaway shelters in Idaho and Hawaii. I have been doing counseling with individuals, couples, groups, and families since 2002 in Idaho and Utah. I have helped people better manage their depression and anxiety, improve their relationships, manage addictions, work through past trauma, and break free of thoughts and behaviors that have caused distress and shame in their life. There are few things in life that bring as much joy as helping people change and grow. I love my work as a therapist and I look forward to helping my clients find confidence and motivation to change and improve their lives. I want to help you overcome barriers in your life so you can become "A Better You."
