Via telehealth, I work with adults throughout Washington and Oregon who experience a wide range of issues including life transitions, grief and loss, identity formation or role changes, interpersonal challenges and conflicts, and trauma experiences. I have worked in a variety of settings including inpatient, outpatient, and day treatment psychiatric programs, Employee Assistance Programs (EAP), and 10+ years as an adjunct Psychology instructor. Over the past seven years, I have assisted First Responders by providing critical incident briefings (CISM) and providing resiliency skills training, and de-escalation skills training. With over 32 years of experience, I utilize evidence-based approaches that are based upon theories and techniques scientifically shown to reduce emotional distress. These may include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Solution Oriented Brief therapy as these are often the most effective approaches to improve mental health conditions. As we work together during therapy, it is important that you feel comfortable and safe to express yourself, disclose what you would like to change, and explore what will help you reach your fullest potential. Therapy can offer the support and understanding that you need to facilitate your growth and make effective changes.
