Are you feeling unfulfilled? stuck? An empty void that you simply can’t explain? Maybe you’ve been doing things that you never thought you’d find yourself doing. Maybe you’ve been feeling something negative for a while that you can’t seem to shake. Perhaps you feel like it’s time to change those bad patterns. I really enjoy what I do and in the years that I’ve been doing this I wake up looking forward to doing what I do. Whether it’s working with people who have been feeling depressed, anxious, angry, or struggling with addiction - or working with families who have had a difficult time adjusting - I do my best to help. I received my Bachelors degree in Psychology from the State University College at Buffalo and my Masters in Mental Health Counseling from Medaille College. I am fully licensed to practice Mental Health Counseling and hold a credential as a substance abuse counselor through the office of alcohol and substance abuse services. I trained in EMDR in 2015 I use an integrative approach that focuses on allowing people to clarify personal values and beliefs while challenging irrational thoughts that keep us from experiencing growth and getting past awful events. We explore the role of neuroscience, tackle issue of free will and biological determinism that impact behavior while weighing reasons for our existence.
