Introduction
I help men and the conflict-avoidant transform their relationships. My clients feel so angry they could explode or so defeated they are shutting down completely. In relationships they often hear themselves saying things like: “I don’t know how it got here,” “Things weren’t perfect but I didn’t think it was this bad,” and “I’ve tried so hard but nothing seems to work.” Their inner messages often sound like: “I just feel numb,” “I get so afraid to do anything, whatever I do will be wrong,” and “I can never get it right, so I just give up and be quiet.” Working with me, my clients learn to identify and understand relationship patterns, improve communication skills, address unhealthy coping behaviors, feel calm in the face of conflict, create intimacy, learn tools to open up and enhance their overall confidence. Faith, race, culture, family dynamics, gender norms, sexuality, politics, careers and finances are just some of the subjects couples need to navigate. For the past 10 years, I’ve studied marriage, attachment and relationship dynamics. I've helped my individual clients create the relationships and lives they’ve always wanted.
