I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with extensive experience in working with a diverse group of individuals. My approach is a person-centered eclectic approach that fosters self-acceptance and empowerment. I frequently use CBT and solution focus techniques when assisting in facilitating healthy change. Therapy is about you, your freedom and the healing that occurs through self-exploration, understanding, finding meaning, and deepening one's insight. My role is to help you begin to think, feel, and understand yourself more deeply, empowering lasting change. My experience includes working with children, adults, teenagers, couples and families. I have worked with victims of abuse and assault as well as mental health issues such as depression and bipolar disorder. I equally have experiences in working with teenagers in the juvenile justice system, individuals struggling with substance abuse, and children being fostered and/or adopted. I believe each person has the answers inside of them to make the desired changes in their lives that will bring them peace, joy and healing but don't know how to access those answers. We will work together to get the answers you are looking for. I look forward to working with you. *Please text or call Amy at (512) 270-1918 or email info@courageousaf.org to schedule with Renese.
