Introduction

I have been working in the mental health field since 2005. I am a licensed professional counselor in both Colorado and Nebraska. I have been in private practice since 2015. I work will all ages and offer individual, couples, and family therapy. ​ I love living in this rural tristate region and having the opportunity to work with individuals from all backgrounds. I grew up in a small town in Northern Michigan where the sun didn’t shine for 3 months out of the year. After graduating from Michigan State with a degree in International Studies, an interdisciplinary of social science I moved to sunny Colorado for “a ski season”. After my 8-year ski season I decided to further my education in a formal matter at Colorado State University where I received my Masters of Education in counseling and career development. I In 2007, I left the mountains and moved to the High Plains and I currently live in Benkelman, Nebraska with my husband and 2 children. I have had the opportunity to work in a school setting as well as community mental health. ​ I have utilized my continued education to be trained in Dialectic Behavior Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR). I am also an Acudetox Specialist. ​ I truly love doing what I do, please let me know if you have any questions!
