I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor. I completed my undergraduate degree and graduate degree in Clinical Practice with Children and Families Social Work programs at Monmouth University. I have had the opportunity to work in a variety of settings including residential, intensive outpatient and standard outpatient level of care. I specialize in working with adults and adolescents who are facing a broad range of presenting problems in mental health. A few presenting areas are substance usage disorders, addictions, individuals affected by trauma, as well as individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, mood disorders, obsessive compulsive disorder, self-esteem struggles and low self-worth. My therapeutic style utilizes a strength-based approach to engage individuals in a journey of self-acceptance and personal growth. I integrate a variety of treatment modalities that include Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Enhancement technique, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Solution Focus Therapy and Mindfulness skills. My goal is to provide my clients with an open, safe, and nonjudgmental environment to explore and evolve throughout each session. During our time working together we can identify attainable goals, address a variety of personal challenges, and improve overall well-being. It would be a privilege to be a part of your journey.
