Introduction

Hi there! I'm Renae. I am a therapist specializing in trauma recovery for all ages. I specialize in the child and adolescent population, but I love to help adults as well! I provide group therapy in addition to individual counseling. My private practice is located in Carson City, Nevada. A little about me: I was born in Southern California and moved to the beautiful Carson Valley at age 6. My favorite part of living in the North Western part of Nevada is the Sierra Nevada Mountain range (hence my practice name!). Sierra View Counseling is derived from when I was a teen. At night, I would stare at the mountains and admire the reflection of the snow from the full moon. I realized there is nothing more therapeutic than observing nature in its unadulterated state. Connection to nature gives us an opportunity to slow down, self-reflect, pray, and process all that goes on in our crazy lives.
