Starting therapy is a big step - trusting a complete stranger with your vulnerabilities, hopes, and anxieties is no small ask. With that in mind, I aim to meet my clients where they're at in order to effect change in a sustainable way. I work with couples and individuals to unpack the origins of their behavioral and cognitive patterns and understand how those are impacting their current relationships and daily lives. My primary specialties are attachment-based therapy, which addresses how the interpersonal skills we learned as children are contributing to our current situations, and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), which highlights the unmet needs that tend to cause rifts and helps to reestablish the emotional connection in partner relationships. The therapy experience is deeply personal, and you know best what works for you. I view my role as the navigator on the journey; I can reflect what I see and guide you in the direction you'd like to go, but ultimately the destination is your choice.
