Introduction

I am a clinical psychologist with experience treating a variety of mental health conditions. Although I work with individuals, I pay particular attention to the social systems and intersecting identities of my clients to ensure treatment is provided in a culturally competent manner. Whether clients are just starting to explore meaningful behavior change to enhance wellness, or are already living their most authentic life, I am available to help address the stressors of life in a respectful, affirming way. I approach my work with clients in a warm and collaborative manner, encouraging authenticity, curiosity, and compassion. As a therapist, I aim to empower clients with the tools, skills, and knowledge they need to improve the quality of their lives. My therapy approach tends to be active, encouraging clients to engage in both self-reflection and behavior change to achieve their goals. Find more information at www.summergoldcounseling.com
