I help my clients foster healthy relationships, heal from past trauma, find strength in a challenging world, adjust to life transitions, and learn healthy ways to manage difficulties such as illness, grief, depression, and anxiety. I understand how experiences of societal oppression and intergenerational trauma can influence suffering, and integrate this into my practice. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New York City. I hold a Bachelors degree in social work from New York University and a Masters degree in social work from Smith College School for Social Work, where I was trained in psychodynamic, relational, and anti-oppressive approaches to clinical work with adolescents and adults. I have provided psychotherapy to a diverse population of adolescents and adults in New York City since 2013. I completed advanced training in clinical supervision from Smith College School for Social Work in 2019 and psychoanalytic psychotherapy from the Institute for the Psychoanalytic Study of Subjectivity in 2020. I am currently an analytic candidate at the Institute for the Psychoanalytic Study of Subjectivity, where I study contemporary psychoanalytic theory and practice.
