Introduction

Hi, welcome to Real Talk Therapy. I’m Rebecca, the owner. A little about me: I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of Florida. I have a bachelor’s degree in Church Ministry and master’s degree in Human Services from Southeastern University. I also have a master’s degree in Social Work from Capella University. I have been working in the field of social work since 2011 in various roles to include those with child welfare difficulties, addiction, severe and persistent mental illness. I have worked in hospitals, partial hospitalization programs, intensive outpatient programs and outpatient therapy with both addiction and mental illness. As a therapist, I am committed to helping you get to the root of what is causing distress and to help empower you to get through this difficult time. I do this through various evidenced-based practices and what I like to call “Real Talk” because your treatment is only as effective as how honest and “real” you are with me. In return I will be “real” with you. I am authentic in my approach and offer empathy and compassion while still challenging you to reach your goal(s). If you or a loved one is suffering from depression, anxiety, burn out, feelings of hopelessness, increased sadness, panic, relationship strain or other problems you can schedule a free 15-minute phone consultation to see if I can help. Click the “contact” button to schedule with me or if you have any questions. I am available for face-to-face in Jacksonville Beach, FL or via telehealth for anyone in the State of Florida. I’m excited to meet you and to see you succeed at all you do. The choice is yours, let’s get real and make it happen. -Rebecca
