Introduction

Welcome to Resolve and Recover Counseling, today is a new beginning. My name is Rebecca Pedersen most people call me Becky. I have been practicing in Mental Health and Substance Abuse disorders since 2013. I received my Bachelors Degree from Weber State University in Ogden Utah and my Masters Degree from Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio Texas. My work experience over the past seven years has been focused on Trauma and Co-Occurring Disorders. I work with Adults and Adolescence, Couples and Families. I have spent a great deal of time understanding the complexity of the mind and how our life experiences shape us into the people we become. I am a Licensed Clinical Social worker and a Substance Abuse Disorder professional. I received my National Certification in Addiction work in 2018 and became fully Licensed as a clinical Social Worker in 2020. I am trained in EMDR, Brainspotting, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and various trauma based therapeutic interventions. I use a holistic approach in counseling as we are not just treating a problem to be solved we are treating the mind body and spirit towards resolving core conflicts and long term recovery. Here you have a safe place to lay your burdens and heal from the inside out.
