Introduction

I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and have been working in the private practice setting since 2009. Prior to that, I worked as a social worker, working with foster kids and families for 7 years. I currently work with adolescents and adults, individually or as families, throughout diverse populations. My main approach to therapy is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). CBT challenges negative and inaccurate thinking that influence behavior and emotions and replaces them with objective and realistic thoughts.
