I have worked in a tri-county area for 10 years, use an eclectic approach for adaptability to benefit a range of ages, developmental-transitional stages working towards a positive shift in client attitude, behavior, and in constructing and identifying with a life worth living. Working together, I will use traditional talk, expressive arts therapy, area resources/outdoor settings and experiences, paired with DBT and trauma-informed care for harm reduction. Finding your path in recovery, I can be a helpful guide to assist rebuilding trust in yourself to move forward towards your goals. My emphasis is on rebuilding relational trust and the ability to provide a safe space for exploration of challenges or successes which may stem from Trauma, abuse, might cause anxiety, isolation or depression, and may even add to overuse of behaviors or substances. I work for you by championing for you when you cannot believe in yourself, gauging motivation for change, identifying your natural strengths and adapting local resources in a rural area for self regulation, increase mindfulness in the present moment, and increasing emotion regulation and self compassion towards a treatment for increased holistic wellbeing: A Body, minds, hands, and heart connection.
