Introduction

Welcome to my counseling website, I'm glad you're here. I am a licensed Mental Health Counselor and licensed school counselor, with over 20 years of experience working with adults, teens, children, and families. With postgraduate training in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), I primarily work with individuals in identifying and exploring the core beliefs and emotions that are interfering with personal, occupational, and spiritual growth such as depression, mood and emotional disorders, anxiety, and relationship issues. I am certified in maternal mental health and wellness, and have spent extensive time working with women experiencing postpartum depression, anxiety, and general distress after childbirth. As a certified Circle of Security facilitator (a parent-child relationship strengthening program) I have worked with parents and families to develop secure parent-child relationships by teaching how they can be supported and strengthened with developmental education, emotional understanding, and increased support to create life long emotional security. My overall goal as a therapist is to create a safe, comfortable, and non-judgmental space where we can collaboratively develop healthier coping skills for stress, depression, and anxiety so you can begin living a more content and harmonious life every day.
