Life is full of changes, and sometimes navigating those changes can be overwhelming and we feel "stuck." At those times, talking through concerns in a safe, trusting environment can help us regain balance and perspective. I believe in the resilience of the human spirit. I strive to be compassionate, curious and collaborative as I help people adjust to changing circumstances, explore their feelings, and engage in mindful decision-making and planning for the future. I have specialized experience in a variety of settings helping individuals and their loved ones navigate acute and chronic illness and injury, other physical health conditions, and medical trauma. Other expertise includes career-related concerns, work/life balance, life transitions, relationship distress, grief/loss, anxiety and depression. In addition to my counseling training and experience, I draw on my nearly 15 years of business consulting to bring a unique blend of strategic thinking, pragmatism and multidisciplinary problem-solving skills to clients, which can be especially helpful with medical issues or work concerns.
