Introduction

It is so nice to meet you! Counseling can be a big step, and I am glad you are looking for a counselor. The most important part of counseling is the fit between the therapist and the client. Therapy should be a place where you feel safe, comfortable and understood. I believe that you are the expert on your life. You have the ability to reach the goals you seek to accomplish in therapy, sometimes those goals aren't always clear to us, or they seem too overwhelming. Sometimes we don't completely understand ourselves. We promise to change something, only to find that the change we seek is harder to obtain than we realized. I will work with you to help you to clarify goals, and understand the blocks that are making it difficult to reach them. I will walk along side you through a journey of self-discovery. I have over 20 years of experience as a therapist. I am an empathetic, non-judgmental, and attentive person. I listen in order to understand your world from your perspective. Everything makes sense in context, even those things we may not like about ourselves. We will explore your inner world together and make sense of it.
