Hi, I'm Rebecca! I'm a Certified EMDR Therapist, specializing in helping kind, sensitive women turn their struggles with anxiety, attachment challenges, PTSD, trauma, and people-pleasing into sources of strength and growth. My approach isn’t cookie-cutter. I combine empathy, curiosity, openness, warmth, and proven therapies to create movement, awareness, and transformation. With me, therapy isn’t just a space to talk-it’s a space where you can feel deeply understood, discover your inner strengths, and unlock tools to create lasting change both personally and professionally. My style is warm and insightful. I'm gentle but direct because real healing happens when we stop dancing around the truth. I bring humor into therapy because therapy should feel human, not clinical. My approach is personalized, focusing entirely on you-your goals, your hopes, and the changes you want to see in your life. I work with women who recognize that the challenges they face today are often rooted in experiences from their past. You’ll gain tools and insight tailored specifically to you, helping you build self-compassion, strengthen relationships, and reclaim your sense of balance and peace. What sets my approach apart is an emphasis on putting you at ease first and foremost, working with not against your nervous system, psychoeducation, connection, and empowerment. I’ll help you understand how trauma impacts both the mind and body, giving you the knowledge to make sense of your experiences. The therapies and techniques I use will also focus on reducing the lingering effects of trauma with the purpose of creating real, lasting change-so you can move forward with clarity, confidence, and a renewed sense of control over your life. The focus will be on your therapy goals. We'll talk about what's been happening in your life that led you to decide now was the time to get back into or get into therapy for the first time. Beyond that, we’ll go beyond surface-level struggles to uncover and address the root causes of what’s holding you back. We’ll focus on what’s happening in your life today while working through the deeper effects of trauma-how it shapes your sense of self, fuels fears of abandonment, influences your attachment style, challenges your boundaries, drives people-pleasing tendencies, and keeps you stuck in the exhausting pursuit of perfection. You’ll gain tools and insight tailored specifically to you, helping you build self-compassion, strengthen relationships, and reclaim your sense of balance. I value honesty and connection, so if I’m not the right fit for you, I’ll help you find a provider who is! Your healing and growth are what matter most, and I’m committed to ensuring you get the support you deserve.
