Introduction

I'm Dr. Rebecca Elliott (she/her/hers), and I'm committed to witnessing and supporting you on your journey toward personal growth, well-being, and connection. I bring a wealth of knowledge and genuine passion for this work and want to help you navigate life's challenges. Flexibility in therapeutic style is vital to meet your needs, and I am able to incorporate evidence-based principles of assessment and treatment, such as those from CBT when clinically indicated. Additionally, I use mindfulness-based interventions to promote increased self-awareness, help you disengage from worry, and connect with presence, intention, and well-being. I take a holistic and relational approach to therapy, with the intention of creating a non-judgmental space where you can safely explore your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Although you may initially present to therapy feeling isolated and disempowered, I believe all individuals are resilient, powerful, and deserving of belonging and connection. I am guided by the belief in each person's capacity to grow and live a fulfilling life and will work with you to identify unique strengths and build upon them. My goal is to empower you to overcome challenges, develop coping strategies, and achieve lasting positive change. https://www.northeastpsychological.com/rebecca-elliott/ Dr. Elliott obtained her master’s and doctoral degrees in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University New England. At this time, she holds a limited permit to practice as a Clinical Psychologist in the state of New York.
