Introduction

I am a relationship therapist and coach. I hope to help you understand why you keep getting caught in unfulfilling relationships. In sessions, you and I will work together to find the answers that bring ease to emotional pain and/or sexually frustrating/overwhelming push-and-pull dynamics that confuse you, isolate you, trigger you, and disconnect you from yourself and the people with whom you want connection the most. Social, sexual, cultural, historical, and religious traumas create pressure to connect at a speed that can trigger attachment and relational wounds from childhood or past relationships. The triggers intensify as a result of other destabilizing factors such as navigating differences of race, class, gender, and sexuality. Taking the time to slow down and locate your natural speed & rhythm of relating can help you become more aware of the habits that keep you stuck and alienated from yourself, your path in life, and the people you love most. This kind of compassionate awareness will reconnect you to a flow of energy, motivation, and movement deep inside that guides you with more clarity and flexibility as you navigate the ups and downs of human connection. A sliding scale is available for those in need. "Unless we recognize the still point beneath the surface of our changing emotions, we will feel we are hostage to their whims.” Haemin Sunim
