I work with individuals 18 years and older who have experienced trauma. We all have experienced trauma and there is nothing to be ashamed of. Trauma is not the event or events that happened to a person. Trauma is the impact that those events had on the individual. The impact of those events can cause a myriad of issues that affect the person in their daily lives. While we cannot do anything about what happened in the past, we can work on how it impacts you now. My treatment approach is holistic. In sessions, we address body, soul (mind, will & emotions) and spirit. I use Somatic Therapy and Brainspotting to help my clients work through the issues that are causing distress. For more information on Brainspotting, go to www.brainspotting.com. I have worked with those dealing with grief and loss, suicidal ideation, anxiety, depression, stress and anger management, and a host of other issues. It does not matter the reason you are seeking help, because I believe together, we can unravel what is causing you distress, seek to understand all the layers it is impacting your life, and reconstruct new ways of living a life you desire. I graduated from Grand Canyon University with a B.A. in Psychology and received my M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Northwest University in Kirkland, Washington.
