It is my belief that our physical and mental health are improved when we have close, healthy, and supportive relationships in our lives. I love to laugh and feel humor is a great tool to deal with life's challenges. I genuinely enjoy connecting with people and feel honored to walk along them in their process of transforming their challenges into resilience. I received my Master's of Social Work 22 years ago and have worked in various fields providing me with a unique background. I am trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy which is based on attachment theory and the idea that our emotions can be used to guide us to lead healthy and meaningful lives. I am also trained in EMDR for treating trauma. I know it can be scary to choose a therapist and show up! It is important to have the right fit.
