Introduction

Everyone experiences anxiety in their lives, but sometimes that anxiety begins to truly affect our quality of life. I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist working at the Center for Anxiety and OCD and I specialize in the treatment of anxiety disorders and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD). Coming from a background of behavioral therapy working with children with Autism, I moved on to treat adults, couples and individuals with a variety of needs including trauma, mood disorders, phase of life transitions and loss. I believe the relationship with the client comes first, and is the key to all successful therapy. Using Cognitive Behavioral therapy (CBT), Mindfulness therapies, and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) I work with clients to create a customized program to fit their needs. I love working with teens and adults alike and have extensive experience working with parents and children to manage anxiety and other symptoms. My passion and purpose is to help those with anxiety understand this often isolating disorder, and to increase the quality of their lives and relationships. Anxiety can steal years from a person, but with the right treatment strategy, it can be managed for a lifetime. At CAOCD we utilize the latest research and best practices to help our clients thrive.
