The art of therapy starts with the cumulative life experiences of the therapist. Life experiential knowledge is crucial in finding a good therapist and should not be discounted when you've decided to begin treatment. A therapist should also be kind, empathic, humorous, direct, open, honest and extremely knowledgeable. A good therapist works in the place where Science and Art collide. This is where I reside when working with clients. This is where therapy can be the most productive and meaningful. We work together, side-by-side, to explore and find insight and awareness. But I will also encourage you to go further. We will work toward tangible, measurable change in your life. I look forward to meeting you in this place and taking the journey of therapy together. www.raycochran.com
