Ravi Almeter

My name is Ravi and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor here in Central Oregon. I am a OHP Pacific Source provider and also take cash pay clients. I received a M.A. in Counseling at Western Seminary in Portland, Oregon & obtained a B.A. from the University of Texas at Tyler before opening a counseling practice in Bend, OR. On a day off, you can find me biking, hiking with the fam, building wood projects in the garage, or enjoying coffee with a good book. ___________________________________________________ I offer flexible appointments throughout the week & do evening sessions as well. I have a wide array of experiences from living overseas, working in the trades, competing in high-level sports, and strive to utilize my experiences to help resonate with my clients and bring in different perspectives. I work to come alongside both individuals and couples as an ally and desire to empower them to be the best version of themselves. My goal is to support them as they work to reach their goals and overcome their challenges in the counseling room in a gentle and grace filled way. While Christian values are inherently a part of my perspective, out of care and respect, I will not impose my beliefs or opinions onto clients. My goal is to support the client as they work to reach their goals and overcome their challenges in the counseling setting. I ultimately view counseling as a collaborative effort in helping clients to recognize strengths, identify needs, understand conflicts, discover new options, set personal growth goals, and make informed choices. I believe each client is an expert on themselves and I see my role is to help you get to where YOU want to go. I have experience working with anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, relationships, loneliness, betrayal, family conflict, and depression, to just name a few. I am devoted to making the counseling room a safe space to share and be authentic with yourself. I believe people are relational and need connection in order to grow and learn.
