Get To Know Your Counselor Specialization: Raven specializes in working with young adults ages 18 to 35. Her common clients are college students and young adults that are seeking support for anxiety, navigating life transitions, depression, adulting 101, workplace/career difficulties, and grief. Education and Background: Raven received her B.S degree in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and her Masters degree in Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. She holds clinical experience and training from Guilford County Schools where she took on the role of a school-based mental health clinician, Wingate University as a counseling intern, and Agape Healing and Wellness Center as a practicum student. Raven holds training in Play Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma Informed. Clinical Approach: My approach is centered on creating a compassion drive space where the values of my clients are honored. I will work to help my client feel safe and comfortable in the counseling space.
