Introduction

As a therapist, Raquel enters into each session focused on your specific goals and needs at the core. She truly believes that therapy is an effective way in which mental and emotional health can be managed and improved. Many of her clients are individuals dealing with symptoms related to anxiety, depression, relational distress, childhood trauma, and neurodiversity. She works with persons of all backgrounds and diversities, including LGBTQ+, multi-cultures, nontraditional relationships & families, etc. Raquel has extensive training in Emotionally-Focused Therapy (EFT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Mindfulness Practices, and acquired additional experience by working with the court systems (Department of Children and Families; Department of Juvenile Justice; and Family Law), academic success planning (504s & IEPs), and psychological evaluations. Our practice, HeadGoals, is super convenient, offering teletherapy in Florida and Oregon. We offer a flexible schedule with both evening and weekend appointments, and very much look forward to supporting you on your journey.
