Introduction

My name is Ramsha (she/her) and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I primarily work with adolescents and adults. I work with individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, self-esteem, relationship issues, and identity struggles. I utilize a person-centered, psychodynamic, and relational therapeutic approach while incorporating skills. My clients often leave feeling heard, understood, and empowered with a newfound clarity regarding themselves and their relationships. With over 4 years of experience, I have worked in private practice, an IOP, and acute care with a focus on adolescents and young adults. My intersectional identity as a South-Asian woman allows me to deeply understand and empathize with experiences of those from varying backgrounds and identities. I specialize in concerns with self-esteem, identity, trauma, and relationships. I work with BIPOC and LGBTQ clients, as well as clients from various diverse backgrounds in understanding how their experiences have affected them and their primary concerns. In therapy, I'll help you gain insight into how your past has impacted you and how we can move forward with intention. We'll gain clarity around your values and what truly matters to you so we can take steps that are rooted in your authenticity. My clinical interests include meeting each unique individual with warmth, cultural humility, empathy, and patience to help them reach their goals and live a more fulfilling life. This experience is unique for everyone and if you’re interested in starting your journey, you are welcome to contact me for an initial consultation.
