Introduction

Give yourself some credit because it takes courage and grit to seek out help with your mental health! I'm so glad you are here. Let me tell you a bit about myself- I earned my Master's of Social Work degree in 2014 after completing education focused on the impacts of trauma, chronic stress and burn out on physical health. I have been providing support to people with their mental health ever since in many different settings (residential services, outpatient mental health, VA) and stages of life (children, adolescents and adults). I got excited about helping people improve their health by improving their mental health when I did the same for myself. You may be experiencing anxiety, irritability, brain fog, physical pain and exhaustion. This is keeping you from showing up for yourself and your family in the way you wish you could. I am a holistic mental health practitioner, passionate about the connection between the mind and the body. I have a warm and inquisitive approach to help you explore the aspects of your life that may not be aligned with what you truly want and may be causing you mental and physical pain. Together we will dig in to your mood, health and environment to gain understanding of the underlying driving forces for your struggles. My hope is that you walk away from each session with compassion for yourself and a realistic, actionable strategy that you can put into practice right away. I am also skilled in supporting children and teens struggling with symptoms of trauma and anxiety. Please reach out to me for more information about how I can help your child.
