Introduction

For 14 years (6 years licensed) it has been my joy and honor working with children as young as 5 years old, (along with their parents) and am able to work with adolescents and adults individually. I am creative with my interventions, tailor my treatment to the person sitting in front of me and am able to connect in a meaningful, safe way. I am certified with the Academy of Cognitive Therapy, and am able to deliver competent, life changing cognitive behavioral therapy techniques and empower you to become your own therapist outside of the therapy hour. I've also had the opportunity to work with at risk youth in the foster care system, suffering with complex trauma and attachment conflict, children who have IEP's struggling with emotional disturbance, ADHD, oppositional defiance disorder and behavioral concerns in a classroom setting. I also have experience in the area of transitional age youth, focusing on the unique specialty mental health needs, as they transition into adulthood. I am collaborative, skilled and able to work within a multi-disciplinary team approach with other providers in order to offer the most helpful care. I look forward to supporting you in your journey.
