Introduction

Let's be real, parenting is hard. It can be especially challenging if your child has extra needs. I am here to support you with these challenges. I specialize in working with children from birth to age 10, and their caregivers. I primarily assist children who suffer from trauma, anxiety, and/or depression. I provide caregivers with support and skills to help them parent and work with their child's unique needs. Life is chaotic and often difficult to understand. I help children learn and understand their big emotions. I empower and advocate for them when needed. My goal is to enhance children's ability to build healthier relationships. I specialize in aiding children to regulate their emotions, learn coping strategies, identify triggers, improve social skills and more. I help caregivers understand their child and their needs better all while enhancing the overall parent/child dynamic. I incorporate play therapy, motivational interviewing, art therapy, and other treatment modalities. Trauma can look different in all children. With the right tools under your belt, you and your child can recover and learn how to move forward from it. Need help in knowing what the signs may look like? Is your child behaving completely out of the norm? Is your child having a hard time regulating their emotions? Reach out to me, I would love to help.
