Introduction

Following the call to become a Marriage and Family Therapist developed after many years spent working in the holistic health field. Since 2012, I have pursued the study of meditation, yoga and mindfulness in order to help others alleviate challenges they face with depression, anxiety and other mental health imbalances. After years studying at various retreat centers, I began working with clients as a life coach and hypnotist. During this time, I worked with numerous clients to help them learn how to regulate their emotions and transform behavioral patterns which led to healthier life styles. As more and more trauma presented itself in this work, I was inspired to go back to graduate school to pursue my Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University in Los Angeles. While in school, I spent time working as a mental health coach for adults recovering from addiction and trauma and helped them develop essential life skills and behavioral changes that allowed them to thrive in the world and achieve their goals. Simultaneously, I also began my training as a Marriage and Family Therapy trainee at the Women’s Clinic Counseling Center, where I worked with clients suffering from anxiety, trauma, grief and depression. I also spent time working as a therapist at various addiction treatment centers in LA leading both group and individual sessions to support clients in finding freedom from addiction. As an EMDR Therapist I use somatic techniques and mindfulness to help clients heal from limiting beliefs and traumatic memories holding them back. My specialities include working with clients with addiction, PTSD, grief/bereavement, anxiety and relationship issues and I support adults, teens and couples in individual and group sessions. I also utilize my background in coaching, holistic healing and spiritual development to offer integration work around psychedelic healing for clients in need. Additional Certification Training includes: - Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) - Certified Somatic Attachment Therapist - Flash Technique - Trauma Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy Certification - Dialectical Behavioral Therapy Training - Mindfulness Training/Yoga Teacher Certification - Emotional Freedom Technique - Reiki Master Training - Certified NGH Hypnotist - Domestic Violence Certification Please call or email now to set up a free 15-minute phone consultation.
