Introduction

As a psychotherapist in Brooklyn, NY, I am a Licensed Creative Arts Therapist, Board Certified Music Therapist, and Credentialed Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselor. My clinical background in these fields allow me to make evidence-based music and verbal interventions to help you accomplish therapeutic goals. I specialized in treating anxiety, depression, codependency, and life transitions. I see many adults who have been impacted by addiction, either through their own struggles with substance use, or a loved one. I use traditional talk therapy but sometimes introduce creative arts based exercises in my sessions. The creative arts allow for defenses to come down and for subconscious emotional material or memories to arise. Together we explore the content that arises in these modalities, connecting it to dynamics, behavior, and feelings you are experiencing in your daily life. I assist clients in processing their experience in session, to gain insight into their emotional states, mental health, relationships, and behaviors. Through our work, we will develop a safe space for you to explore and discover a deeper sense of self while working towards your goals.
