The reason I chose to go into the field of counseling is because I truly care about helping others discover their path to the person they want to be. Along that path of growing into their future I focus on helping them heal from the past that still affects them today. I also have found that cognitive behavioral therapy and psychoeducation are ways to help educate how our brains work to help heal and grow. I do not believe that anyone is broken and will not treat you as if you are. Clients are not here to be fixed; they are here for therapeutic guidance to help them on their journey to healing. -About me- I graduated from Spring Arbor University with my master’s in counseling in May 2023. I worked at an agency for a year during my internship. I currently work at Future & Hope Counseling Services in Saginaw, MI. I also have a bachelor’s in buisness management, which I worked for a credit union for about five years while I completed my masters in counseling. I changed my field of interest due to the undeniable calling I felt to help others. This is what I know I am meant for and truly love doing every day. I currently offer individual counseling to adults and adolescents (ages 12-17). I can do in person or virtual appointments. Insurances accepted are listed below. I accept private pay clients as well and offer a sliding scale fee for those who request financial assistance.
