Introduction

I'm a Clinical Psychologist who specializes in anxiety and OCD and works with individuals across the lifespan. I graduated from Michigan State University's School Psychology Doctoral Program. I completed an APPIC-accredited internship at Cypress-Fairbanks ISD in Texas, followed by a post-doctoral residency at The Center for Cognitive Therapy & Assessment in Virginia. I have extensive experience working with children and adolescents. I strive to use warmth, validation, and practical strategies in sessions to help clients reach their goals. I primarily use Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy in my approach, while tailoring sessions to the unique needs and preferences of each individual. I seek feedback from my clients to ensure that our sessions are consistent with your hopes and expectations for therapy. As a parent to a toddler myself, I know what rewarding and challenging work it is to be a parent! I’m also passionate about working directly with parents to support both themselves and their child. I’ve been trained in Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE), a parent-based treatment program for youth with anxiety, OCD, and related problems. While I recently moved with my family to California, I am licensed in Virginia and able to provide therapy to individuals who live in Virginia. I'm available for sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12:00 pm - 6:30 pm.
