Introduction

As a psychodynamic therapist, I encourage the exploration of relationships. I believe interpersonal dynamics shape the way we see ourselves and interact with the world. By exploring all kinds of relationships - past and present, as well as our therapeutic relationship - we can reveal the common threads of your internal world. I aim to create a safe bond in which you feel accepted. You will be supported in identifying and deepening your strengths while also being challenged to identify and explore new growth edges. While I believe that you are the expert of your experience in the world, I aim to help you process the ways in which you’ve consciously and unconsciously adapted to your experiences. We will work together to examine the beliefs you hold about yourself. Increasing your understanding of yourself, within the context of your world, will move you toward healing. Together, we’ll create a space to explore your intersecting identities, culture, and experiences. Beyond the interpersonal, we’ll look at the ways our society socialization and the internalization of societal messages have affected you.
