I am a behavioral health and holistic wellness psychotherapist with over eight years of clinical social work and counseling experience in NYC. I received my Master of Social Work degree from Touro College, in addition to advanced clinical training and Post-Master’s Certification from New York University. I am currently on staff at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in the Supportive Care Service and Department of Social Work. I specialize in palliative and end-of-life care; treating grief, bereavement, depression, anxiety, adjustment disorders, life transitions, chronic illness, pain management, and relationship issues. My approach focuses on forming nurturing and respectful connections with individuals, couples, and families. I strive to create a trusting and collaborative relationship with my clients to provide effective, result-oriented treatment in a warm and supportive environment. Exploring coping skills, behavior patterns, and goal setting are core components incorporated into my mental health and wellness practice. I provide a compassionate and strengths-based perspective during therapy, pulling from your own resiliency to balance and ultimately overcome presenting challenges. I use behavior modification and emotion regulation methods to focus on improving coping skills and problem solving. By aligning with your short- and long-term goals, we can develop action-based plans as I guide and support you through this journey of self-discovery. I strongly believe that my model of therapeutic counseling empowers clients to create meaningful and productive lives, which you can too! Book a session today, your best life is waiting!
