Introduction

One of my passions as a therapist is creating an interpersonal space for people to feel loved and accepted. We learn and grow in environments where we feel safe. I utilize a variety of modalities tailored to each client based on their individual needs by collaborating with my clients to find what works best for them. My presence has been described as safe, warm, empathetic, and curious. A lot of people come to therapy because something is happening that feels outside of their control and bad. I know how this feels and I've been there. I've done a lot of therapy of my own to get to a place where I understand myself well and can manage my thoughts and emotions in healthy ways. Because I know this healing process from the inside, along with my professional training, I am well equipped to help people navigate it. I love helping clients understand their internal world and how it impacts every aspect of their lives. When we understand our feelings, thoughts, and history we can begin to have more agency over our choices. We can begin to build a life that feels good. I love when clients come to therapy for the first time and after a few months they say things like "this is hard work, but I feel better already!", "you helped me see things I never saw before", and "you helped us save our marriage". Therapy only works if people make changes. If you're ready to make some changes, you've come to the right place!
