I am a Licensed Professional Counselor whose career has been dedicated to working with adolescents, adults and families in a clinical or school setting. I specialize in eating disorders, self-esteem and body image, as well as anxiety and depression. My work with clients takes on a holistic approach, with a goal of determining counseling techniques most appropriate for your personal exploration, insight and growth. I come into a counseling session with a foundation in person-centered counseling, offering a warm, safe, non-judgmental, empathic, goal-oriented space for you to dive in, explore, and take action towards positive change. I gained my clinical experience and expertise through my work as an outpatient therapist, a school counselor, a family therapist and assistant clinical director at a residential eating disorders treatment program, as well as through my consulting work with a national organization dedicated to supporting individuals and families affected by eating disorders. I would be honored to be part of your journey, but remember, this is your journey, I am simply here to serve as a guide. You have taken the first step, now feel free to reach out to see if I may be the right fit for you. “The good life is a process, not a state of being. It is a direction, not a destination”—Carl Rogers.
