My start in this field came from working as an advocate at a domestic violence shelter. I then worked in community mental health for six years, as a therapist and clinical supervisor. I have experienced great personal growth from receiving my own therapy, and love to aid others. Each client’s path in therapy looks different. I make sure to identify each individual’s specific needs in therapy and adapt my session structure to match. As a therapist, I am a huge advocate for social justice and underserved communities and most of my experience is with BIPOC, queer, female, trans/non-binary, and disabled clients. I integrate validation of client experiences and challenge clients to make appropriate and healthy changes in their lives. When I'm not working, I love spending time with my wife, kids, and dogs! I also enjoy reading novels and drinking coffee. I listen to music almost constantly and like almost every genre.
