Introduction

Hi, I’m Rachel, a licensed clinical social worker and therapist based in Downtown Marietta, Georgia. I feel truly honored to work with individuals who are seeking to enhance their emotional well-being and cultivate a deeper sense of inner peace. I believe that as human beings, we each hold the answers we need within ourselves. Sometimes, we just need a little help accessing our own truth and finding our path forward - and talk therapy with a trained clinician can be an excellent tool for this. Through talking, we gain clarity, deepen our understanding of our experiences, and create space for healing and recovery. “Emotion, which is suffering, ceases to be suffering, as soon as we can begin to form a clear and concise picture of it.” — Victor Frankl I draw from cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness practices, and somatic interventions in my work with clients. I have a strong background in supporting individuals facing depression, anxiety, OCD, addictions, and other psychiatric illnesses. Still, diagnoses are just one part of a much bigger story; I take a holistic, individualized approach, honoring the complexity and uniqueness of every client I work with. I feel honored to support people as they navigate challenges with boundaries, communication, and relationships. Watching growth unfold in therapy is one of the greatest privileges of my work. Whether emotional difficulties arise within the context of a job, school, or relationships, we can use these struggles as a starting point for the deeper therapeutic work and self-discovery. At the heart of my clients’ journeys is often a shared desire to improve their own lives as well as the lives of others in some meaningful way. This is my goal as a therapist as well. “I want to know what you ache for and if you dare to dream of meeting your heart’s longing.” — Oriah Mountain Dreamer
