Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling [MA CMHC] National Certified Counselor [NCC] Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate [CO] I'm passionate about creating a supportive and collaborative space for individuals seeking to navigate life's challenges from a holistic perspective. My primary specialty is trauma (and related concerns and diagnoses). My experience includes working with a range of populations, such as at-risk youth in the foster care, adoption, and juvenile justice systems; LGBTQ+ individuals (youth and adults); and those coping with extensive childhood trauma, attachment concerns, posttraumatic stress, grief/loss, ADHD, self-harm, and crises. I've also worked with developmentally and intellectually delayed adults, survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence, sex workers, and individuals managing schizophrenia, depression, anxiety, and other mental health concerns. I welcome the opportunity to work with these and other clients as they seek support, healing, and growth. Having personally navigated the challenges of a serious medical diagnosis (stage 3 breast cancer due to the BRCA1 genetic mutation), I bring compassion and understanding to my work with clients facing their own health concerns and journeys. Whether you're managing a new diagnosis or seeking support along a longer health-related path, my goal with therapy is to help you explore your values, discover your inner resilience, and create a life that reflects authenticity and meaning. I strive to foster an environment where clients feel empowered to try new things, grow, heal, and find congruence between who they are and the lives they want to lead. Grounded in humanistic and existential approaches, I integrate meaning-making, mindfulness, and narrative work, among other modalities ( like cognitive behavioral therapy, somatic, and internal family systems), into my practice. I believe every individual has the internal resources needed to face life's challenges, and my role as a therapist is to help clients recognize and utilize those strengths. Together, we will explore your goals, values, and unique story to create a path forward that feels both purposeful and impactful.
