Introduction

Hi! I’m Rachael Myers and I provide online therapy in Texas. I value of a good fit between a therapist and client because I know people can progress further, faster with the right person. Here’s a little about me. I’m a small town Texas girl that tends to be pretty straightforward. I strive to be practical. I am a military spouse, so I understand crazy. I also am a stepmom, so I really understand crazy. Most importantly, I am follower of Jesus Christ. I received a Bachelors of Social Work and a Bachelors of Sociology from the University of North Texas and a Masters of Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington. After graduating, I worked at North Texas nonprofits raising money for causes near to my heart. I discovered my love for clinical social work while working with hospice patients and their families. It’s one of my greatest honors to be allowed into people’s lives, especially when they don’t feel at their best. I withhold judgment because it’s life-giving to be extended grace and be given the benefit of the doubt. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of Texas and California. My husband is active duty military and we are temporarily stationed in California. I will continue to support my Texas clients virtually until we return to Texas. I have experience working with individuals, couples and families. I have advanced training working with grief and stepfamilies/ blended families. I’d love for you to reach out so we can talk about your counseling needs.
