I have 15 years of experience working with individuals and families as psychotherapist, working with diverse populations in both New York and California, both in health clinic settings and private practice. I have a holistic and somatic foundation, based in my life long interest and study of ancient and modern healing practices. I have a personal yoga and mindfulness practice of many years, which helps to stay grounded and calm in these turbulent times. Because of this, I am a psychotherapist whose orientation is not in just treating the symptoms of mental health, but in helping my clients resolve the root of their issues with cutting edge approaches that have the research and evidence to back their effectiveness. I have found that addressing and resolving the root of trauma helps my client find greater and longer-lasting relief than just symptom and behavioral managment alone. I specialize in treating complex and developmental trauma, through a lens of attachment theory. I have training in and utilize Internal Family Systems (IFS), Attachment-focused EMDR, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Trauma Informed CBT in my private practice with adult individuals and couples. I just completed a postgraduate program in Psychedelic Assisted Therapy with The Integrative Psychiatric Institute. As a result, I am happy to announce that I have a new client offering of Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP), which I offer in partnership with Journey Clinical.
