Hello. My name is R. Denise Cole. I obtained my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from ECPI University in 2010. I then went on to obtain my Masters of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain College of Nursing in 2015. While working as a registered nurse in several disciplines, including ophthalmology, oncology, neurology, general surgery, HIV and infectious diseases, and women’s health, I recognized the effect that mental health had on overall health. This ultimately led me to complete the post-graduate Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program at Regis College in 2021. I served in the U.S. Army as a combat medic and understand the challenges faced by our service men and women. I also understand and am empathetic to how these challenges affect the service members’ mental health and that of their family members and loved ones. I have been dedicated to the nursing profession for over 17 years and strive to provide effective yet compassionate care to my patients. I look forward to helping you work towards your goals and achieve wellness. Let’s get started.
