Introduction

R. Brian Pippinger is the owner and primary therapist at Level Wellness, LLC. Brian brings years of professional experience in a variety of settings with a multitude of populations including children, adolescents currently on probation with the Department of Juvenile Justice, adult men with persistent and severe mental illness, at-risk women and families, domestic violence and trauma survivors, LGBT youth in foster care as well as individuals dealing with substance abuse concerns. ​Brian holds a Master of Science in Clinical Psychology with a Specialization in Counseling from Walden University, a Master of Business Administration, and a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from Florida State University Brian utilizes a Cognitive-Behavior Therapy and Person Centered approach to therapy, as both are empirically proven to provide a pathway toward personal growth and healing. Both approaches allow for a collaborative treatment modality. Brian finds this approach effective to help client's engage in their work more fully. Brian is a Florida native and lives in St. Petersburg, FL with his partner Greg, 4 dogs (Holly, Maslow, Kinsey & Pavlov), rabbit (Booker), and 9 chickens. ​Brian's philosophy about therapy- "Therapy is about helping people do their work...without judgement.
