Introduction

We specialize in providing holistic, trauma and person-centered psychotherapy and integrates tools and skills drawn from contextual behavioral therapies including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). We work to establish a safe, non-judgmental, and affirming environment where clients can begin to explore what brought them to therapy. Promontory Psychotherapy staff work to build an authentic therapuetic relationship and is committed to collaborating with each client on their goals. We believe that empowering clients to deepen insight around behaviors and patterns in their life that get in the way of their goals, while simultaneously building self compassion—are vital parts of the therapuetic process.
